Result!

Daisy was meant to be my working dog and Apple Richards but she was "borrowed" by Richard whilst Apple had her first litter. I have been getting the feeling I won't be allowed to get her back since she is proving herself very capable ;).

Anyway Daisy went with Richard to her first Working Test Today run by the Hungarian Vizsla Society. She was up amongst some stiff competition from some well known names in working circles. Although we are constantly training her here she hasn't had much experience at all elsewhere and this test was going to be an opportunity for her to gain some. Fantastically she was awarded an amazing Fourth Place, the first three going to highly trained GSPs. She was awarded 89 points, just behind the GSP in third place who had 89.5 points!

Nope...I can definately see me not getting her back now....

Latest Addition

Lucida decided to try to catch us out yesterday and gave birth to her cria 2 1/2 weeks early! The as yet unnamed, male cria appears to be doing well and is pelting around the paddock already.

They're off

We have been very busy over the last few days saying goodbye to our pups who have now left for their new homes. We wish them and their owners many years of happiness together.

Brutus (aka Chasse) went on a rather prolonged journey to Guernsey, owing to the ferry being delayed by over 2 hours. He has now settled in to his new home very well and I am delighted to have received photos already. Here he is below.



And yes, for those of you wondering, we did relent and keep one. Sometimes there is one you just can't see go!!!!

Bath and West Photo

I was thrilled today to receive some photos from the Junior Fawn Female Huacaya class at the Bath and West Show. They were sent from Gary of Oakview Alpaca. I was showing their alpaca, Delphi, who won a fourth in a tough class of around 16. The photos also included Isla with our Clover, winning third.
