What a beautiful weekend

The lovely weather this weekend provided the perfect opportunity to get out and about with dogs and alpacas.  Below are some pictures of the puppies and alpacas in the very welcome sunshine.

Isla with Daucus who will hopefully be shortly heading south to become a much loved pet.

First taste of food and the outdoors

Today saw two "firsts" for the puppies.  This morning they had their first taste of solid food, and they loved it, no coaxing necessary they dived straight in.  This was followed by a VERY brief foray into the garden for a quick sniff around before returning to their warm room.  It no doubt won't be long before they would rather be out than in!

Puppy Head Shots

Now the puppies have their eyes open, some headshots of our little treasures!

Puppy Update

Sadly we have had to say goodbye to one of our little girl puppies today.  She had not gained any weight since birth and despite our best efforts and round the clock nursing it became clear that the kindest thing to do would be to let her be at peace.

The rest of the puppies are doing well and now have their baby names so introducing...

Girls: Crumble (beige), Blossom (turquoise and pink), Juice (lilac), Orchard (turquoise and white)

Boys: Pip (green), Bobbin (blue), Mac (turquoise),

The photo album on the previous post is still being updated so keep monitoring!

Finally some news...

We are delighted to announce the arrival of Cezar and Apple's eight puppies.  They are now the proud parents of 5 little girls and 3 boys.

I have also had a couple of lovely critiques written for Opal from her recent show.  I am so pleased with her.  They can be read here: http://amiryck.me.uk/cats.html#Opal

Finally I am delighted to announce Tennant now has his very own page on his owner Sam's website.  What a gorgeous boy, click to see him here:

Not long to go now and Pearl growing up

Apple has around 2 weeks until her due date but is already piling on the pounds, I am not sure she will last that long...

Pearl is growing up into a pretty young lady, she managed to stay still just long enough for some photos today!
