I was absolutely thrilled to receive this photo today of April taken by Sam of Farlap Photography. This was taken yesterday at Dunster Fair where April won the Post Graduate Pointer Class.

Halter Training Revisited

It was definitely about time our youngsters got back on the halter (I mean the alpacas!). So we took the opportunity today to give them a short burst on the halter.

Some of them remember what it is all about better than others.

Dorrigo is the ultimate pro (above and below)
Dill remembered he doesn't like it at all but he can stand still!
and Dahlia obviously took tips from him..

Dyer was fairly chilled out about it...

Unfortunately there are no photos of Danika since she spent most of the time in the air!

July already!

I haven't much to report at the moment. There are ups and downs but at the moment all the animals are still enjoying the sunshine...

Cally is looking very well

As is Erica, who we are still very pleased with

Dyer, one of our Jack cria from last year still looks very smart
and the Pekins are grown up and have started laying
