The sun is back

Well the weather must be nice because Jasper, our 13 year old cavalier decided to have some fun in the field today! Here he is below.

Out with him was his friend Keifer who is nearly 13. We have been battling to treat a corneal ulcer on him and are hoping we are beginning to win the battle.
Below is Toffee...
The cat also came out with us and below are the alpacas checking her out: Erica, Ronnie and Cinnie.

Erica continues to do well. As can be seen below.

The rest of the girls are in good shape..
Daisy is never happier than when she is retrieving something...anything!!!

Belle

We have had a visit today from Herby's sister, Belle. She reminds us very much of a longer coated version of her mum Apple. Here she is below on the right with Apple and Herby.

Weekend Hat trick

We have had yet another fun filled weekend. Saturday saw the birth of our first cria of the year, a beautiful brown girl called Erica followed by a lovely time at the village May Fair. Sunday was spent at the HWVA "Wired for Action" Fun Day and very fun it was too... photos can be found here. Today was spent at the West Country Dog Club Show and what a result...

Herby was at his last ever show as a puppy since it is his first birthday today. He absolutely delighted us in getting Best Puppy in Breed and then even better, Gundog Puppy Group 3.

April, meanwhile didn't let us down and was awarded Reserve Best of Breed.

Apple did me proud at the fun day with some cracking retrieves.

Meanwhile Erica is doing VERY well. I cannot tell you how pleased we are with our little Columbus girl.

Fantastic!

I had a feeling Ronnie, who was expecting our first cria of the year, was close to having it yesterday so this morning I was up first (very unusual for me!) and straight out to check on the girls. Lo and behold I got out to find an addition to the numbers. Ronnie had given birth to a strong brown girl who was up on her feet, afterbirth delivered - bingo! It was all good...... Here are some pictures of the yet to be named little lady.

and lastly a picture of Danika, who we think looks very much like her dad...
