Well the birthing paddock has been filling up...
Sunday 27th July saw the arrival of Cashew 11 days early. Unfortunately he acted it and his mum wasn't sure how to deal with her first cria. The first day and a half saw us bottle feeding him, firstly with powdered colustrum and then with his mum's own supply. Thankfully on Tuesday he had found enough strength to feed from his mum himself and is now doing well.
Today we have had the arrival of another, a little black girl, about 3 weeks late. It was a text book arrival and mum and baby are doing well.
