Phew what a week!

This week has been manic, particularly the latter end.  Thursday and Friday was spent showing alpacas at the Devon County Show.  A lovely show, with a great atmosphere, the alpaca section was very well organised.  Our young boys did us proud with Amiryck Eucalyptus following up his Futurity placing with a 4th junior fawn male and Elmer who has been awarded a 2nd and 3rd place at his 2 previous shows picking up another 2nd place (junior black male).  Unfortunately I couldn't watch the final judging on the Saturday since I was travelling up to Scotland for a dog show (I know - complete madness!).  The trip was worthwhile though with Herby bringing home the reserve CC.  This made the drive home straight afterwards slightly more bearable!

Herby, who in his wisdom decided a paddle in the dirty banks of the lake was a good idea just prior to the show!

Well done. I'm glad Herby's paddling didn't prevent him doing well in the show.

Well done on all fronts - a quick re-charge before Bath & West now.

It was a delight taking little Elmer in for the Championship, he's a little cracker!
