We had to make the tough decision today to have one of the kittens put to sleep. He wasn't putting on weight and was likely to have problems in the future and we didn't want him to suffer. We had tried what we could but it wasn't to be, unfortunately, one of the downsides of breeding animals. I am pleased to report the other five are doing well, as is Bella. I am amazed that at 5 days all some of them are already opening their eyes!

I'm amazed at how cute the kittens are already. Such a shame about the sixth one but you gave it your best shot and sometimes it just isn't meant to be. I am sure the others will bring you lots of pleasure.
Want gorgeous little kittens, its sad when you have to make such a hard decison, but I think you have done the right thing. Its too easy to keep animals alive, but with a very difficult future lying ahead for them. We have experienced off this and I am sure you will have much joy the remaining kittens.
Sorry about the little fella Karen, as you say there all some tough decisions when owning animals. On the up side aren't they fantastic. Look at those little claws...so long already.
